Graduation brings laughter, gratitude

Confetti flew as students exited the Dutchess BOCES Conference Center following the Resilience Academy and In-District Programs Graduation June 21. Passing under the balloon arch, their tassels turned to the left, the students couldn’t wait to embrace their family and friends after an inspirational ceremony.
One students shared that Dutchess BOCES made her stronger, smarter and a more emphatheic human.
"This school gave me so many opportunities to grow and evolve which gave me a much brighter outlook on life.”

Laughter filled the room as another student shared her experience in the district's PEACCE program, which stands for Providing an Education for Autistic and Communication Impaired Children Effectively.
In addition to graduation certificates, numerous awards were handed out during the ceremony before students and their families moved into the hall to enjoy some baked goods prepared by the culinary students and staff.
